Member Identification

If you have an email address on file, you will receive an email with an invitation to enroll and create an account.

If you don’t have an email on file or did not receive one, you can create an account by going to benefitstarter.com and clicking on the “Not Registered” link. To register your account, enter your Group Code 121719, Last Name, Date of Birth and Last Four Digits of your SSN.

Home Dashboard – Getting Started

This is the dashboard you will see when logging into your account.

To begin enrollment, click “Get Started.”

Personal Information

Review your personal information, and answer the two questions on the right before you continue.

Dependent Information

This is where you can add and/or edit your dependent information.

Please verify your dependent information here.

Category Overview

As you go through the online enrollment, each product will begin with a category overview text page. Here you can review general plan information.

Once you have read through the text, hit “Continue” to enroll in your medical plan.

Pick Your Dependents or Dependent Coverage

The first step in selecting a plan is clicking on the dependents you want to cover.

Based on the dependents chosen, the per pay period deduction will update, if applicable.

Plan Details

To view each product in more detail, click “Explore Details” to expand the plan card. To close the details, click on “Close Details.”

Plan Selection

Once you have decided on your election, click “Add to Cart.”

You can edit your election at any time during the enrollment experience as long as open enrollment is still in session.

Please refer to your benefits guide or dashboard for open enrollment dates.

Review Selections

As you continue through the enrollment experience, you will only see benefits that apply to you.

To view your shopping cart, click on the shopping cart icon at the top of the screen.

Benefits Requiring a Beneficiary

For benefits that require a beneficiary, you will be required to list at least one primary beneficiary before adding to the shopping cart.

You may add additional primary and/or contingent beneficiaries and an address (not required).

Shopping Cart

Before confirmation, you will see your shopping cart that includes all selected benefits.

You can still make edits to the plans at this point and any other point during open enrollment.

To view those who are covered, click on “View Coverage Information.”

To view details from the shopping cart, expand the plan card by clicking “View Details” and close the details by clicking “Close Details.”

Your pay period amount will be expressed in both pre-tax and post-tax dollars.

Additional Coverage Questions

Before confirmation, you will need to answer a few more questions regarding other medical insurance coverage and/or Medicare coverage.

Once you’ve answered these questions, click on the “Save & Complete” button.



After you click “Save & Complete,” you will need to confirm that your enrollment selections are truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Enrollment Summary and Confirmation of Benefits

Once you complete the enrollment process, you will see your Enrollment Summary and Confirmation of Benefits page. Print this page for your records.


Your Dashboard

At any time during open enrollment, you may go back and make changes to your elections.

If you decide to make changes to your benefits during open enrollment, you will need to re-elect your benefits.

In addition, if any updates are made to dependent information during open enrollment, you will need to re-enroll as your plan options may change.
