First of all, I am privileged to say hello to all marine equipment-related people around the world on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of KOMEA foundation this year.

In retrospect, the history of KOMEA has been that of inspiring global cooperation and collaboration, realizing the ocean value chain to build better future.

As of the end of 2019, the number of domestic KOMEA member companies stood at 247, which account for roughly 80% of the all-Korean marine equipment production value amount. We have now reached the stage to maximize the number of foreign members to create enormous win-win effects on the global single market.

Equipped with the wealth of experiences, government relations and overseas partners, KOMEA is providing practical and customized services such as Korea Pavilion project, overseas workstations operation, expanded after-market mechanism.

In particular, KOMEA plans to establish new overseas workstation in Vladivostok in Russia this year, following suit of workstations in China, Singapore, Greece and Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Touching on the landscape of global shipbuilding, offshore and marine equipment, I would like to point out the necessity of closer networking at home and abroad to achieve sustainable and dynamic growth of marine equipment horizon.
