SPORTS REPORTERJAMMU: J&K State Kho Kho Associationorganised friendly kho-kho matches as amark of celebration of the Olympic Day onSaturday.
President of the Association ManmeetSingh and Treasurer of Kho-Kho Federationof India (KKFI) B.S Tirthi told the playersregarding importance of Olympic Day and itsmotto.
The players also took oath to carry the val-ues and principle of Olympic movements withtrue spirits of sportsmanship.

The play was directed, con-ceived and prepared by NeerajKant, renowned and seniortheatre artist. The play wasassisted by Bhupinder SinghJamwal, choreographer andAnil Tickoo, Assistant CultureOfficer.
Earlier, Sunaina Sharmainaugurated the painting exhi-bition organised by academyprepared by the children ofpainting workshop. A total of144 children participated inthe painting workshop and 36students in the theatre.
Amarjeet Singh, renownedpainter and Shashi Bala, sen-ior visual artist were theinstructors. Sunaina Sharmasaid that academy deservesappreciation as through theregular activity of ChildrenSummer workshop a platform
to the youngsters is being pro-vided since last few decades.
She further said that tocatch them young this is theright time to strike and boostthe hidden talent of the youth.
While appreciating the per-formance of the play she saidthat the children who weretrained in two weeks displayedtheir talent in an efficient andeffective manner and theydeserve great applause.
