WHAT YOU SAID:

“Just to let you know that we are back in Australia after our wonderful walk on the Camino from Sarria to

Santiago. I can understand now why you had so much trouble getting us in on the time that we requested.

On the day that we commenced our walk, there was also 33 French Canadian girls also walking in just one

booking, together with all the other multitude.

It was such a great experience, with lovely weather, just a little misty with a short drizzle one day only, some

inclines that really got the heart rate up, beautiful scenery, lovely old churches and buildings in the quaint

towns, many different animals, and last but not least met some wonderful people that we spoke with along

the way and joined them for a meal or drink.

The accomodation and meals were of a high standard, some more so than others, but did not have one

complaint about any of the stays. So thank you again Janine for organising such a memorable holiday for

us.” Janet and Phil “On the whole the accommodation was central, in good locations and in old town areas – also they often let us in when we arrived early - we all liked all of that. And some of the accommodation and food was wonderful – e.g. Anna’s at San Miniato – the room and food was totally amazing.

Papa Vista in Rome was also very good – we stayed there before and after the trip. In Monteriggioni the accommodation, food, location and setting was all good. Hotel Chuisolla in Sienna was very good accommodation and food e.g. had cheese, eggs, ham, fresh rolls etc. for breakfast. The ‘Osteria La Bottega Cose Buone’ restaurant in Lucca deserves a special mention – we could have anything on the menu, the food was divine and they gave me some wonderful soup to take back to the room for my sister who wasn’t feeling well. In Proceno and in Rocca d’Orcia (La Sisterna) the accommodation and food was excellent and the people were very nice to u.” Maris
