Intercede with Us for the Muslim World! “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked.“I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do” (Acts 9:5-6). Like Paul, some Muslims meet Jesus in visions. They then need explanation, prayer, and direction to learn to follow Him. Pray that, as the Lord sent Ananias, He will send believers to disciple them. Can He use you and me? Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries SIERRA LEONE: Please pray for two requests shared by missionaries: for God's favor and funds for the purchase of the property in Freetown on which Evangel Bible College stands. The lease is ending and the school has an opportunity to purchase. EBC, directed by a WAAST graduate, trains new pastors for the Assemblies of God of Sierra Leone and is also the site of the WAAST extension center. Spirit-filled pastors grounded in God's Word are needed to reach both the Muslims and animists for an end to Ebola. After a few weeks with no new cases, this past week two cases were reported in Freetown. In the News Pray for two churches on the island of Zanzibar, off the coast and a part of Tanzania, East Africa. Muslims have forced one church off its rented land even before the end of its lease. Members have become scattered and are meeting in homes. The pastor and family have had to move four times in the past two years. Pray for them, for God's provision for his family and for several Muslim converts under his care. Pray also that the church can purchase its own land. An Assemblies of God church on the island has been forced to pay legal fees each month for the past eight years as others try to force them off their property, accusing them of wrongfully taking over and building on the land. Please pray for a solution that brings God glory. Pray for this small congregation, for God's encouragement and provision.
