Intercede with Us for the Muslim World! There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your

neighbor? (James 4:12, NIV).

Muslim men follow the concept of hisbah, which allows and even requires them to judge family and other members of thecommunity and to mete out punishment to those who stray from the duties of their religion. Punishments range from strictcounsel to honor killings. Let's pray that God will reveal His grace and forgiveness to men bound in this religion of fear.*

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students and AlumniNIGERIA: A student notes that one strategy used by Boko Haram is mass killing to discourage and decimate theChristian population. He asks us to pray that “the more they kill, the more people will come to faith in Christ, thatthere will be multiplication as there was with the Hebrews in Egypt” (see Exodus 1:12). Pray that God's kingdom willgrow in the midst of this persecution, and that He will move in the hearts of their persecutors.

NORTHERN TOGO: An alumnus pastoring in a predominately Muslim town asks us to pray (1) for the conversionof many Muslims here, (2) that they will see demonstrations of God's power, (3) for the completion of the new churchbuilding to replace the wood- and palm-frond structure, (4) that new churches may be planted in the nearby villages.

In the NewsContinue praying for Pastor Saeed Abedini, imprisoned for his faith in Iran. Hopes were high that he would be on thelist of those pardoned on the occasion of the new year. His wife, Naghmeh, wrote on 6 April, “No political prisonerswere on the list of 920 that are being released for Iranian new year. Saeed will not be released as part of the new yearpardons. This is heart breaking for the kids and I. I will not give up fighting for my husband's release. I will continueto fix my eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith. Trusting in Jesus and His timing and His Goodness. Ourfamily would appreciate your continued prayers.” Let's intercede for them and for healing for Pastor Saeed.

World Watch List: Pray for the Persecuted**Libya ranks 13th on the list of nations where Christians face the most severe persecution. Ninety-six percent of itspeople follow Islam. Evangelical Christians number only about 200,000. Ex-pat churches are allowed, but Libyans areforbidden to attend. Extremist groups are growing, and this past December the National Assembly voted to makeIslamic law the basis for all legislation. The government is in turmoil; on 8 April, the new Prime Minister was chargedwith forming a new government with a week. Please pray that the Lord who can turn the hearts of kings will guidethese leaders, and that He will strengthen His people there and use them to draw others to Him.

For Muslim Women***Please pray for a Muslim mother in Russia, who has been influenced by Islamic fundamentalist factions. Pray that shewill recognize Truth in the life and words of her Christian friend, and that she will choose Jesus.
