Intercede with Us for the Muslim World! The Lord is . . . not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2Pe 3:9, NKJV).

Today's Prayer Requests: Focus on NigerNiger is a landlocked desert country in West Africa, with a population nearing 17 million.

At least 80% of the people follow Islam. Students and missionaries ask us to pray

    concerning several issues:

Pray for the ongoing protection and ministry of an Assemblies of God primary school in

a city in southern Niger. There are at least 100 known agents of Boko Haram in the city,

and they have targeted the school. Pray for the children's camp that will be held on theschool grounds in July, for the protection of children and workers and that God's message

of peace and love will penetrate young hearts. Pray also for the ongoing protection and

ministry of a children's center in Niamey.

A pastor and his family have relocated to Niamey after his church in another town was

burned down. He has since received threats, saying that he faces death if he returns. Pray for the Holy

Spirit's guidance and protection upon him as he ministers there each weekend. This is the only church

in the village. Pray that the Lord will strengthen the believers and that He will open doors for them to

share their faith with those who seek God.

Two missionary units (Baptist) have been moved out of Niger because of the dangers. Please pray that the Word

they have preached will bear fruit in the lives of those who have listened.

The Nigerien government recently demanded that a census be taken of all pastors and churches, recording addresses,

contact information, and family information. For the time being, churches are being protected by police presence; pray

that the positive use of this information continues. Pray for those who guard the churches during services, that they

may hear and respond to the Word of Life.

From Global Initiative*Pray for Christian teachers working in the Palestinian West Bank. May doors open for them to share the love of Jesus.

The Christian population in the West Bank has dropped to 8%, so most of the children in the few private Christian

schools are Muslims. The schools are allowed to teach only non-Muslims about Christianity. Just this month, Hamas

enacted a law that boys and girls be taught separately from the age of 9, requiring an adjustment in the Christian

schools. Pray that teachers will wisely use opportunities to share their faith despite the limits placed on them.

    For Muslim Women**

Please pray for a worker in a very conservative Indian context, whose tireless work among her Muslim neighbors hasdepleted defenses that she needs against infection and illness. Pray for her healing, and that Gods hand upon her body

would testify loudly to the very people she serves.
