Adair County Public Library Awarded Grant The Adair County Public Library was awarded a Public Li- brary Collection Development Grant in the amount of $5,510.39 from the Missouri State Library. The Library has used the money to purchase new large print titles, adult and teen audio books, and auto materials for children. The sum was divided equally between the three categories. Mrs. B promoted the new audio books for kids in the June Summer Reading Program. Kids could count listening to audios as a part of their required reading. Popular titles such as Hank the Cow Dog and Fancy Nancy flew off the shelves. The library staff shifted collections around and sep- arated the Juvenile and Teen audio books out of the adult audio book collection.
