The undersigned hereby recuses from this case in accordance with the Canons of 

Judicial Ethics to avoid the appearance of impropriety and to prevent any perceivedbias from affecting this case. A member of the Cullman City School Board is the former Chief Juvenile Probation Officer and currently serves as the Early Warning TruancyOfficer for the District Court of Cullman County and may be called as a witness in thisaction. Additionally, the undersigned has a child currently enrolled in Cullman HighSchool where the Defendant serves as Principal.

This matter is referred to the Judge Gregory A. Nicholas, Presiding Judge, for re-assignment.
