JSW SIP is a one of its kind internships for undergraduate students of any academic background

This 8 week program will give students an opportunity to get associated & work with a global brand in core economic sectors

Internship projects will focus on developing out-of-the-box responses & innovative solutions

All interns will be assigned mentors and “buddies” to help & guide them throughout the internship

TOPIC

Conduct a cost benefit analysis for using various ‘coal blends’ with respect to volatile matter, sulfur content etc

GOALS

Summarize the different sources from which we import coal

Determine the various impurities required to be removed from coal

Determine the cost of removing these impurities and hence the ‘true’ cost of coal

Propose an ideal blend of the different coal grades to minimize cost

TOPIC

Development of an ‘end consumer price’ model for JSW TMT Plus and JSW Colouron (retail products)

GOALS

Study various models of ‘end consumer price’ across industry sectors and the steel industry

Develop a suitable model for JSW TMT Plus and JSW Colouron

Suggest ways in which JSW can make consumers aware of the ‘end consumer price’ for the above products

Outstanding interns will walk away with a PRE-PLACEMENT OFFER

The PPO is a direct entry into our fast track graduate rotation program

Interns will be mentored by senior professionals; boosting their learning curve

Accommodation / travel (work related) will be taken care of. Along with this a stipend of Rs 40,000 for the duration of the internship will be provided

Additionally, interns can avail of all facilities (library, sports, entertainment etc) at our plants

This program will provide an interface for institution – industry tie up

Colleges will have an opportunity to begin a long term relationship with JSW
