Frosty the Snowman

Never knocks here at our door,

It’s not that there’s no room at the inn,

We’re safe and loved; we need no more.

I saw Mama Kissing Santa Claus!

No wait, it’s Florence kissing Skippy.

He’s spoiled if he’s not loved enough…

Pouts, cries, twirls, and gets yippy.

Rudolph the Red-nose Reindeer

has a very shiny nose,

Kind of like Danny, Iris, and Jewel,

With their sparkly dispositions,

Where holiday happiness is the rule.

Deck the Halls with Bows of Holly,

And the goats will have their dinner.

Along with the leaves on the maple trees,

O Tannenbaum’s branches are getting thinner.

Come, they told me, parum-pa-pum-pum,

I’m Spirit and I’m a drummer.

My idol is Gene Krupa,

And I thrum from fall to summer!

Year End Review

We’ve just completed another busy year. We welcomed many new residents, including Snow, our new dog in

wheels; Danny, the paraplegic cat; Wilbur, who was left t ied in a yard; and kittens like Spirit who needed

special care to survive. We were thrilled to find our horse Misty is in remission from her skin cancer. But in

addition to Lilo and Cosette, we had to say goodbye to some other longtime residents, each beloved and

special, including our dogs Bailey, Arnold, and Daisy, and cats River, Tuptim, and Grumpy.

We completed many maintenance projects, including repairing the fence that Sherlock the goat knocked

down; fixing the generator (again!); and rebuilding some of the Cat House woodwork. And the new

Memorial Garden is a beautiful, peaceful place for contemplation.

We wish you all a very happy New Year. As always, we are very grateful for your support. We couldn’t do

this work without you!

Bob* can chauffeur wherever he wants

special theme and lovingly crafted with incredible attention to detail

by our volunteer Pam, who is kindly donating all sales proceeds to

Journey's End. One of these colorful, whimsical beds will brighten

any room while giving your pet a warm, comfy bed.

The cushions are machine washable and dryable and are made with

the highest quality materials. We've used Pam's cat beds for years for

our own cats, and they hold up great to repeated washings.
