Jose Pinerio has earned proficiency in system analysis, software development technologies, database designs and project management.

In 1988, when Jose Pinerio joined Apollo as a Software Developer, he started with the responsibility of developing a new requisition system for cruise ships.

Then after 12 years, in the year 2000, he completed the requisitions project and y2k conversion, he was promoted to IT manager.

After promotion, he has been assigned to the development and implementation of a new HR system using a new technology.

By the end of 2004, the HR system was fully implemented on board the ships and shore side which resulted into improved productivity and saving a hefty amount in labor, travel arrangements for the crew and freight charges.

All crew documents were processed electronically with the new system.

Owing to his dedication and hard work, he was promoted to the position of Director of Information & Technology for all Apollo related companies and was charged with the responsibility of the development and maintenance of various software applications, including Order Processing and the HR system.

After years of hard work, Jose Pinerio has gained expertise and extensive experience in utilizing technology solutions to improve corporate efficiencies and have contributed to the growth and success of the organization by leading and managing all technology initiatives for all Apollo related companies.
