MAKES: 20 PREP TIME: 20 mins COOKING TIME: 45 mins INGREDIENTS 190g butter, chopped 290g pkt NESTLÉ BAKERS’ CHOICE Dark MELTS 1 cup (250g) CSR Brown Sugar 3 eggs, lightly beaten 1½ cups (225g) WHITE WINGS plain flour ½ cup (65g) COMMUNITY CO. Walnuts, Chopped ¼ cup (25g) NESTLÉ BAKERS’ CHOICE 100% Cocoa ½ pkt NESTLÉ BAKERS’ CHOICE White MELTS, melted 340g pkt NESTLÉ SMARTIES 20 cocktail/canapé skewers (approx. 7–8cm length) 20 star stickers (optional) METHOD 1. Preheat oven to 160°C/140°C fan forced. Grease and line base and sides of a 19cm square cake pan. 2. Combine butter, Dark Melts and sugar in medium saucepan; stir over low heat until melted and smooth; set aside to cool 10 minutes. Stir in eggs and sifted flour, cocoa powder and chopped walnuts. 3. Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Bake 40–45 minutes or until mixture is just firm to touch. Cool in pan. 4. Turn out and cut into 4 columns horizontally. Cut each column into 5 triangles (there will be a little bit of wastage). Press sticks into the base of each triangle. 5. Melt White Melts as per pack instructions. Pipe, spread or drizzle melted choc over triangles as desired. Decorate with SMARTIES and star stickers as per photo. Joy CHRISTMAS Tree Brownies
