About UsAEE Southern California Chapter (AEE SoCal) is a large and dynamic regional chapter of the Atlanta-based Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), an organization founded in 1977 with over 13,000 members in the United States and around the world. The mission of the Chapter is “to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for sustainable development”.

AEE SoCal Focal PointThe Chapter is a focal point for energy professionals and those supporting the energy industry in Southern California. All are interested in developing their knowledge base, business network and careers through the Chapter’s regional events and programs. AEE SoCal activities include monthly meetings with cutting edge presentations by industry experts, a well-attended Annual Conference, energy project tours, social networking events and multiple valuable education courses that can prepare participants for AEE certification exams and to more effectively compete for energy projects.

AEE and its Chapters are dedicated to providing professional development opportunities, industry networking, conference and seminar programs, technical publications and journals and more. Its members are professionals with strong interest in energy engineering and energy management, renewable and alternative energy, power generation, energy services, sustainability and related supporting industry components such as legal, tax, marketing and compliance specialties.
