Job, the Item’s Value Entries, and related General Ledger entries when you run Adjust

Cost/Post Cost.




Notice above how the $14.455 adjustment is posted to the Value Entries.

88. “Bin Contents” is now supported on the Job Journal Entries.

When you post consumption of RM, you can now specify which “bin” is to be relieved.

The process makes all the associated transactions at the bin entries also.

98. CAD import Utility for Bill of Materials using XML Ports. (BOM)

You can now import your Bill of Materials directly from your CAD software. Just create

the TXT file, and use our Import Utility to bring the BOM into the Item’s Planning Lines

or if appropriate, into the Job’s Planning Lines.




99. Requisition Worksheet to generate multiple Purchase Quotes to the

vendors you select.

This is a much requested feature. Enable the Requisition Worksheet to generate

Purchase Quotes. Then review the Vendor’s Quotes, select your desired Vendor, and

“Make Purchase Order” from the Purchase Quote.

If the Requisition Line was related to a Job’s Planning Line, then update that Planning

line with the selected Vendor’s Cost Information. Hence, you are improving the

accuracy of your “Estimate” as you approve Vendor Quotes.

A new button has been added to the job list and job card to create a New Change

Order.

When this action is chosen, a window will pop up for the user to choose what

type of change order they want to create. (Item or Resource)




The two fields for the category table are SubJob Code, Description, and Job Type.

Each item or resource that can be used to create a change order job will have a

corresponding subjob category code assigned to it. This allows the user to

choose from multiple items or resources to create a change order job.




You only need to have the 2 Categories Shown:

COI = Change Order from the Item Table (Making an additional Item)

COR = Change Order from the Resource Table (Additional Service)

After the user has chosen the change order subjob category (item or resource) a

list of the available items or resources will be shown. The user then chooses one,

and a change order job is created. It will use the task and planning lines from the

resource or item (template) that was chosen.




Notice that the Change Order can have its own unique Task List for Cost and

Revenue Tracking.

The new change order job will show up in the job list, and from this point forward,

the change order job is treated like any other job.




All usage and production for a change order job is posted direct to the change

order job. The statistics view is per job. You can see ALL of the statistics for

subjobs and change orders from the Master job Statistics window. The Change

Order Job will hold its own Job Ledger Entries too.

This process is all very point and click automated, providing the end-user with an

easy interface that ties the change order to the parent job and master job, while

following all of the standard NAV processes. The numbering system groups the

jobs together within the job list so that they can be easily viewed in hierarchy.
