CONTEXT: Fundão is a small municipality in the center of Portugal, suffering the problems of a low density territory and struggling to find solutions for today’s crisis. Under-30, with high level of education, have an unemployment rate of 30% and cannot find jobs in the region.

REFLECTIONSProximity and agility are key success factor for rapid prototyping of solutions. Small cities are ideally sized for this experiments.

Bottom-up movements are only possible when political level is really committed to be open, transparent and coherent.
