INTRODUCTIONWe, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Rajkot take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as one and only organization of its kind in the region established with an intention to serve the children having Type-I diabetes.

ESTABLISHMENT  Our organization was established on 28th Feb.2004 with good intension to provide FREE OF COST periodical Check-up, Treatment & Guidelines by Experts – Diabetologists, Ophthalmologists, Nephrologists, Dentists, Pediatricians, Endocrinologists & Dietitians.

JDF FAMILYTill End of Feb.2010, we’ve about 330 JD children registeredfree of charge with us from all around Saurashtra

   FACILITIES

We are providing insulin, syringes, glucometers & blood strips free of charge to the needy members and at subsidized rates to all other members.

ACTIVITIES- We are organizing free check up camps & education programmes for our members at regular intervals(at least 3 to 4 times a year),under the guidance of renowned doctors of Gujarat.

- We’re also organizing free EYE & DENTAL check up camp for our members once in a year.

- But we cannot provide all the requirements to all the needy members.

OUR DREAMS- Our first dream is to provide to all our needy members all the basic medical requirements totally free of charge.

- Our JDF team has a second dream to open an educational & counseling center especially for juvenile diabetics, free of charge for all our JD members, where we can organize our camps & educational programmes regularly. Highly qualified professionals of the field will be there, at the center for personal guidance to all our JD members & their guardians.

OUR VISION- Our team members has an another vision to be helpful to all our needy JD members for their education so that they can become self earned & in future they can help others.

- Also, they may need guidance for matrimonial matching as, today, in our society, hardly any normal person will agree to get engaged with a diabetic. Actually any JD, with regularly well maintained sugar levels is fully fit for any kind of activities but we have to convince the society and the concerned persons for the same. So, our role is important in this field also.

- And our major dream is to be helpful in the field of research for cure of juvenile diabetes, through any professional research institute or a group of scientists involved in the field.
