To be better in- formed and to get all the players together, we will be meeting on Sunday, April 15th after the 10:30 service. We will have some pizza and drinks so you can come hungry if you want! Just a reminder, we are going to Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, Mississippi from July 21st to July 28th. So far 12 peo- ple from Zion have expressed interest in going, plus we have an opportunity to team up with folks from St. Peter's UCC in Okawville. This is very exciting and would like to get people together before we head out in July. If you would like to learn more about Back Bay, you can go to their web- site at https://thebackbaymission.org. So save the date, mark it on your calendar and we hope to see you on the 15th! (Make sure you come hungry - we WILL have food! If we didn't have food, Gretchen would be very upset with us.) GOING TO CAMP???? If you or your child are planning on going to Camp DuBois this summer, we need to know! Scholarships are available, but arrangements must be made through the church office. Kids must also earn the scholarship by participating and helping at a church function. Please contact the office for more information or to get on the camp list! Not too soon to start asking….. Board of Christian Education and Sunday School

The BCE met with Reverend Yvette on March 18th to discuss our Sunday School curriculum for next year and to consider some exciting changes for the Sunday School. The children did a great job collecting fruit, vegeta-bles and jello for the families of Kindercottage. We also collected $600 dollars which will help approximately 30 families purchase Easter ham. Thank you to all who assisted the children with this project. We also thank

Reverend Bowman and Linda for delivering our Easter foods to Kindercottage. The BCE is proud of teaching our kids to help other kids in need and the children have been very excited by this project. We thank Tricia Gardner for teaching our First Communion class. First Communion will be celebrated on April 22nd during the 10:30 service. The Kuhlenschmidt Scholarship Sunday will be observed

on April 15th. Our Sunday School offering, as well as any donations from the congrega-tion, will be collected on the 15th and for-warded to Eden. All confirmands are re-

quired to attend Holy week services. If there is a valid family reason that you can't at-

tend, please talk to Charissa as soon as pos-sible. If you are a graduate of high school,

college, trade school, masters program, etc, this year, please contact the church of-fice. You will be recognized on May 27th. Hope to see all of you in Sunday School.
