A Message from the President
Happy New Year! The month of December ended the calendar year with a luncheon full of Holiday song, followed by our elegant Candlelight Ball, we won “Best in Parade” with our rendition of Toyland Island Style, and ended with Girls Night Out on the Marco Princess. We certainly could not have achieved such success without Candy Seward, Becca Scarborough, Laverne Davy and all of our dedicated members, thank you! Season is officially in full swing, so don’t forget to renew your dues and sign up for “The Winter Bash”. Together we will make fond memories with friends old and new. Relax; enjoy the lunch & friendship! In Friendship, Sharon Cook

Discover a resourceful, collaborative approach to portfolio management
Women are more influential than ever in the workplace, in businesses and in the economy. By some estimates, women control 60% of the wealth in the United States.
As a successful business woman, aspiring entrepreneur, head of household or soon-to-be retiree, the decisions you make regarding your financial circumstances will change as you transition roles throughout life. Women routinely handle household budgets and family finances, and managing a forward-looking investment portfolio is an extension of that.
Join me for a lively, informative, friendly discussion designed to help you plan for a life of financial security and independence.
Among other things, we will discuss:
• How to organize your finances
• The Social Security income gap
• How stocks, bonds and other investments work
• Why you need a plan to prepare for retirement
• Issues of divorce and widowhood
• What to expect from a financial advisor
