Diocesan Marriage Preparation Presenters Needed!!!

Married couples who are interested in presenting material to a group of engaged couples as part of their marriage preparation are needed. The married couple would only have to commit to presenting four times a year and the office is willing to pay for babysitting if you need assistance in that area. Saint Ignatius of Loyola believed that we encounter God at every moment of our

existence. His Spiritual Exercises provide the means to help us to become more and more

aware of this ever-present God. In preparation for Lent, join Robin and Easton Hebert as we journey through the Exercises and encounter

the living God in ourselves, our spouses and in "all things". Included in the retreat will be pockets of silence and ample time for deep

personal and couple sharing within the context of prayer.

The event is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. with registration starting at 8:00 a.m. Coffee, donuts and juice will be served during registration, followed by recitation of the Rosary inside the church. Other activities of the day include the celebration of Mass, the opportunity for Confession, meditation on the Stations of the Cross and Benediction. Our retreat master this year is Rev. Mark Miley, Pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Kaplan. There will be five priests available for Confessions. Tickets for the “Lenten Day of Recollection” are $12.00 per person which includes lunch. Tickets must be purchased prior to February 6.
