Arts Focus
Arts Focus enables 308 students, 13 teachers and 68 parents to produce over 5000 pieces of art over the year!
Arts Focus Reception
Parent Education
Parent Ed trained 32 new families this year and has launched 3 new initiatives:
– Classroom resource binders
– Parent Education section in the Stevenson Library
– Parent Forums

Walk-A-Thon
Committee members and volunteers sold 500+ slices of pizza and
250 bags of popcorn.
The Walk-a-thon raised over
$31,000 in all!
ELAC
ELAC members made 200+ delicious tostadas to feed all our hungry families
in this years WAT!
Gardening
The Garden Committee built a new “outdoor classroom” in the garden that beautifully fits in with the surroundings.
Babysitting
One family has single-handedly taken on babysitting organization for most school
meetings. Go Schroders!
Fundraising
From the Holiday Boutique, restaurant nights, box-top collections, Scrip,
shopping nights and more, Fundraising has generated over $6300 so far!
New Grant
Thanks to the dedication of our grant writers, we have secured a $2000 grant from Target for our Arts Focus Program!
Rocket Day
Social Committee used 9 rocket launchers to launch approximately 1,000 rockets at Rocket Day.
Eco-Committee
Volunteers brave the cold mornings each week for the recycling collection which continues to bring in money and help save our environment in the process.
Don’t forget to bring your recycling on Wednesdays!
Social Committee Serves
Over 300 cookies served by the Social Committee at the Arts Focus Reception.
So far, 5 homemade lunches for the entire staff have been served this school year by our Teacher Appreciation Committee.
The Welcome Committee served countless cups of coffee and orange juice at our welcome coffee the first day of school.

Recruiting has hosted several tours, coffee nights (1 tonight even!) and information nights to new prospective families.
Our website/design team continues to improve content and create beautiful Spotlight newsletters.

PACT PALS 3-Year Stats
Brought more than 28 different enrichment classes and onsite childcare to Stevenson over 8 sessions
Negotiated with 19+ vendors
Dealt with decreasing space issues, changes to bell schedules and rental fees
Spent hundreds of hours in meetings
Created an entire online registration system
And still… 7 of the 11 PACT PALS members have been part of the committee since the very first session!
PACT PALS
This fall over 200 children enrolled in PACT PALS.
Enrichment classes created specifically for PACT:

Library
The library and leveled reading room continue to be organized and
maintained due to all the time library committee members dedicate.
Math & Science
Each year this Committee organizes Science Night
Math Night
Science Fair
to encourage interest in these subjects in a way that’s fun and engaging!
Destination Imagination
Parents work hard to oversee the kids in DI as they work through group projects to sharpen their problem solving and
technical thinking skills.
Site Council
Works hard to ensure our school meets curriculum and district standards. Teachers, administration and parents working together to better our school.
Site Safety team working with administration and staff pulled off a successful emergency drill this year.
Foundation Contributors
Board members work countless hours to ensure our school funds, programs and volunteers are kept on track.
Committee Coordinators ensure that everyone has a way to volunteer at our school.
Registrar works tirelessly to help new and existing parents with all they need each year.
Individual Contributors
Many of our Schools volunteer roles don’t fall under one particular area, but these folks all play a part in making our school great.
