All nominations must come through Club secretaries accompanied by a Club Cheque- Personal cheques will not be accepted.

The committee will be TWO members from each club. Clubs (Team Managers) are responsible for getting their riders to all Events

Limited Stables , No Electric Fences permitted. Portable Yards allowed.

Team of Four Riders: Each team will assemble as a Team of Four at Point A. The Chief Ring Steward will give the command Form Single File- Walk March Each Team will Form Single File Walk March, and WITHOUT any further commands from the Chief Ring Steward, at Point B will form Half Section- Trot. At Point C , each team will form Section- Canter, complete a circle at the Canter and proceed around the markers as indicated, halting at and outside edge of judging ring.

DRESSAGE

Dressage Judges are only available on Saturday. RIDERS are responsible to present for their tests. Tests are as follows as per Grading Card

Prep C Preliminary 1:2Novice 2:2 Elementary 3:1

Test undertaken must be at Riders current Dressage level on Dressage Grading Card, if ungraded then at the appropriate Dressage level as nominated by the Club Senior Instructor.

Callers will be permitted without penalty for competitors under 13 years. If over 13 years a penalty of 5 points will be incurred

E GRADE to commence following Team of 4s on Saturday- AM5 All riders must be Zone Graded.

RESCUE RELAY- Saturday afternoon (Entries will be taken on Saturday & Riders must be entered for their Graded jumping)

Novelty Events - Team Sporting Events (4riders per team)

Led rider teams will be separate to other teams.

These events will not be timed & ribbons will not be awarded. Teams can be of mixed ages and clubs if required. All riders are encouraged to have a go and have some fun.

NB - This program may be altered at the discretion of the Ringmaster.

Rules & Regulations

*Team managers are responsible for advising the Office if their members are not competing in any events.

* A Name of a worker per rider must be placed on the entry form and if the worker does not fulfil his/her commitment the rider will be scratched. This includes Associates.

* Club uniform to be worn throughout the Jamboree.

* All competitors must Parade in the March past. If a rider, for no valid reason, fails to ride in the March Past the club to which that rider belongs , though it may participate in the March Past, will not be eligible for judging. Failure to take part in the Mounted Presentation on Sunday without authorisation will see the club concerned fined $50 for every rider not in the Mounted Presentation without having been granted permission for early leave. Any other disciplinary action against the rider will be at the discretion of the club to which he/she belongs.

* Team Managers must be suitably attired and accompany their team in both the Mounted parade and Mounted Presentation.

* In each event each competitor is allowed one entry only

.

* The Committee may vary the order of events at any time.

* Judges decision is final in all events.

* No limit on Rescue Relay teams per club. Riders are not permitted to ride up or down a Grade or Age group.

* No limit on Teams of Four per club.

* Sporting- To be run on times only. There will be no finals.

* Champion Trophies to be presented with Champion Sashes at Mounted Presentation.

* Ribbons to 6th Place in all events.

*Points system operates for competition in ALL events, 12 pts down to 2 when six or more competitors, and adjusted accordingly when less than six competitors. Full points in Showjumping events.

* In the event of an equality of points for the most successful competitor, the competitor having scored the greater number of firsts, seconds and so on. If there are still equals after that then it goes back to the Rider class.

* Dressage Callers are permitted for all Riders with a five (5) point penalty. NO penalty for riders under 13 years.

* The Pointscore will be posted 15 minutes before the Presentation.

RESCUE RELAY- All riders must be nominated to compete in Graded showjumping to be eligible.

*The course will not contain combination obstacles

* Competitors will jump as many obstacles in the correct order as possible as many times as there is reason to do so until they are stopped by the clock.

* The horse jumping the course when the bell for time is sounded must then jump the following obstacle. The time will be taken when the horses forelegs touch the ground. This obstacle does not count in classification. Should a horse be in mid-air when the time bell is sounded the next fence is jumped for timing.

* In the course of the competition, at each fault committed, no matter what this may be, the partner takes over immediately and continues the course.

* If the fault was a disobedience, the partner takes over the round and must jump the obstacle where the disobedience occurred.

* In the case of a knock down, the bell is sounded, the course will be rebuilt, the bell will sound again at which point the partner will take over and continue on the course.

* Notwithstanding the conditions above, if a rider completes the first circuit of the course without fault the other member of that team must take over the jumping.

* The competition then proceeds in accordance with the conditions as previously detailed in this competition.

* 2 points will be awarded for each obstacle jumped clear. 1 point for each obstacle
