Shree Siddhachakra Pujan

The tradition of Siddhachakra Pujan is very ancient

and dates back to the 20th Tirthankars Munisuvrat

Swami. It was developed by ancient sages and it is

very holy and auspicious. The Siddhachakra includes

numerous very powerful mantras. The worship and

pujan of Siddhachakra result in fulfillments of

necessary worldly desires and ultimately the

liberation of souls. The pujas will be performed on

the copper 19” main Yantra and few of 9” x 9”

yantras for pujas sponsored by individual families.

This time with a special request from us, our

Vidhikar Shri Samirbhai has agreed to conduct

certain puja with offering of Almonds. If you prefer

to use almonds in the offering please look at the

puja list, certain pujas have been marked with

special offering. It is our hope and aim that all the

members of the community take part in this puja.

Please contact Mahveer Akkole 617-320-4367 for

puja bolies.

Siddhachakra Pujan

Introduction and background

In Jainism, there are 5 auspicious greats, Arihant-

Siddha-Acharya-Upadhyay-Sadhu and 4 fundamental

soul properties of Faith-Knowledge-Conduct-

Penance. Together, these 9 entities form one of the

greatest and most auspicious prayer. Worship of this

group of 9 does the utmost good, worldly as well as

spiritually. It has the power to purify the soul and

ultimately help achieve the salvation. This holy group

of 9 entities is respectfully assimilated by Siddha

(successfully proven) Chakra (circle of 9 entities and

other demigods-goddesses) worship. Siddha Chakra

is a king of all Mantra (a form of prayer/chanting for

achieving the desired goals), which integrates all the

9 entities (Nav Pad) of 5 auspicious greats (Panch

Parmesti) & 4 properties of soul (Atma Chatustaya).

Siddha Chakra was constructed by ancient Jain sages

(Acharyas). It is very holy, full of transcendental

reflections (spiritual thoughts) and always successful.

It includes the proven Mantras reflecting the

fundamental basis of Jainism, e.g. Panch Parmesti

and Atma Chatustaya. Worship of Siddha Chakra

results in many achievements and ultimately the

liberation of our soul from all Karmas.

Siddha Chakra is very ancient and holy in Jainism and

has been mentioned in the scriptures of 10th

Purva.

Scriptures also mention that our great Acharyas (e.g.

Vajra Swami, et al) have accepted Siddha Chakra and

the scriptural procedure of its worship. In this

declining time cycle, Siddha Chakra was first

worshipped by king Shripal and queen Mayna, about

1.15 million years ago. Fortunately, Siddha Chakra

has come down to us in the same form. We can

achieve the same success as Shripal and Mayna, e.g.

worldly happiness, spiritual advancement and

ultimate salvation, if we put our heart, mind and soul

into this worship.

There are 9 circles in Siddha Chakra. The centralist

circle includes a lotus with 8 petals. In the middle

Lord Arihant is positioned. In the 8 petals, the

remaining 8 entities (4 auspicious greats and 4 soul

properties) are there. The scriptural language is in

the 2nd

circle, 48 powers are in the 3rd

circle, 8 Guru

(spiritual teacher) symbols are in the 4th

circle, 8

great goddesses are in the 5th

circle, 18 protective

demigods-goddesses are in the 6th

circle, 16

knowledge-promoting goddesses are in the 7th

circle,

Religious Order protecting 24 demi gods - 24

goddesses are in the 8"' circle and finally the last 9th

circle includes 4 door keeping gods and 4 brave gods.

10 directional protecting gods, 9 planet gods, 9

jewels and Bhutbali, et al remaining gods-goddesses

are positioned elsewhere in Siddha Chakra.

The entire worship of Siddha Chakra is divided into

26 small worships. A write-up of details and

importance of each pujan is available. Please call

Pankajbhai shah or KB Jain for questions regarding

the pujan.
