13th April 2012 AS PER ATTACHED LIST OF RECIPIENTS Dear Sir, PORT KLANG AUTHORITY GENERAL MANAGER’S CIRCULAR NO. 2/2012 CHARGES FOR SUPPLY OF BUNKER AT DEEP WATER POINT (DWP), ALONGSIDE WHARVES AND OVER THE WHARVES AND TRANSFER OF BUNKER BETWEEN BUNKER VESSELS AT APPROVED AREAS IN PORT KLANG We wish to inform that with effect from 1st May 2012, the following charges will be raised for the supply of bunker at Deep Water Point (DWP), alongside wharves and over the wharves and for the transfer of bunker between bunker vessels at approved areas in Port Klang viz :

1. BUNKER VESSELS TAKING BUNKER AT WEBS WESTPORTS

a. Subsequent supply to ships at DWP and to ships alongside wharves (payable to Westports Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.):

Pipeline Charge RM1.80/ ton Wharfage RM2.00/ ton

No other charges shall be raised by Terminal Operators on subsequent supply of bunker by the Bunker Vessel to ships at DWP or alongside wharves.

2. BUNKER VESSELS CARRYING BUNKER FROM FOREIGN PORTS

a. Supply to ships at DWP:

Port Charge RM0.50/ ton Wharfage RM0.65/ ton

b. Supply to ships alongside wharves :

Port Charge RM0.50/ ton Wharfage RM1.25/ ton

3. BUNKER VESSELS CARRYING BUNKER FROM MALAYSIAN

PORTS

a. Supply to ships at DWP:

Port Charge RM0.50/ ton Wharfage RM0.65/ ton

b. Supply to ships alongside wharves :

Port Charge RM0.50/ ton Wharfage RM1.00/ ton

4. SUPPLY OF BUNKER TO SHIPS AND BUNKER VESSELS TAKING

BUNKER CARGO AT BERTH OVER THE WHARF

a. Foreign Going Ships :

Port Charge RM5.50/ ton Wharfage RM2.50/ ton

b. Domestic Trade Ships :

Port Charge RM3.80/ ton Wharfage RM2.00/ ton

No charges shall be raised for empty drums returned over the wharves as port and wharfage charges have been raised previously on laden drums.

5. TRANSFER OF BUNKER CARGO BETWEEN BUNKER VESSELS AT DWP

a. Every transfer of bunker cargo between bunker vessels :

Port Charges RM0.50/ ton Wharfage RM0.65/ ton

6. GENERAL INFORMATION

a. Bunkers Suppliers or their agents are required to comply to PKA

Notice 01/2008 dated 5 May 2008 with regard to inspection of bunker vessels, safety checklist for bunkering operations and notification of bunkering operations to Terminal Operators, Notice 01/2009 dated 29 May 2009 with regard to measures to enhance safety of navigation at anchorage areas and other relevant notices and circulars.

b. Bunker suppliers shall provide the necessary documents to Terminal

Operators pertaining to quantity and origin of bunker cargo carried on board bunker vessels for verification purposes.

c. All relevant charges at Deep Water Point shall be raised by and is

payable to Northport (M) Bhd. d. All enquiries regarding this circular are to be directed to the
