The Jewish Christian Network is pleased to announce its first meeting to be held in North America this November 21st and 22nd, 2009. We are inviting our entire Network to be a part of this upcoming historic event, as we welcome the world re-known co-founders and directors of Christian Friends of Israel to our church.

Our Ministry has officially established a relationship with Christian Friends of Israel and this November’s meeting we will be hosting them and will be especially focusing on their outreach to the Ethiopian Jews. They have been effectively working with the Beta Israel for the last 10 years.y

November’s meeting is titled," Empowering the Dispersed". Our meeting’s theme is taken from the Prophet Zephaniah’s prophecy (Zephaniah 3:10) regarding the end time significance of Ethiopia and the Ethiopian Jews. We are inviting you all to be a part of this event through your intercession, attendance and through your being a part of a g y , g y g pspecial souvenir booklet that we will be producing to commemorate the event and to be a blessing to the Ethiopian Jews. Beta Israel: Ethiopia’s JewsBecause much of the Beta Israel's history is passed orally from generation to generation, we may never truly know their origins.

Four main theories exist concerning the beginnings of the Beta Israel community:

1) The Beta Israel may be the lost Israelite tribe of Dan. Dan was known as the tribe of great judges The mostDan was known as the tribe of great judges. The most famous was Samson.

2) They may have preserved Judaism from the revelation that Queen Sheba received from “Kingrevelation that Queen Sheba received from King Solomon” (1King 10: 1-13; Matthew 12:42)

3) They may be descendants of Menelik I, son of King Solomon and Queen Sheba.

4) They may be descendants of Ethiopian Christians and pagans who converted to Judaism centuries ago.

5) They may be descendants of Jews who fled Israel BLACK JEWS:5) They may be descendants of Jews who fled Israel for Egypt after the destruction of the First Temple in 586 BCE and eventually settled in Ethiopia.
