IO Support
Purpose. The purpose of IO is to deter aggression. Should deterrence fail, IOwill gain and maintain information superiority, and conduct joint offensiveinformation operations.
Key Tasks.
Protect friendly C4I systems.
Disrupt AH and SAPA command and control.
Marginalize legitimacy and erode popular support of AH and SAPA. Further legitimize the democratically elected government of Azerbaijan.
End-state. At the end of this operation:
AZ is intact with popular support for the electoral process.
Population opposes SAPA

Proposed IO Plan
Defensive IO to protect and defend friendlyinformation and information systems is ongoing.
When directed, joint offensive IO deters AH and
SAPA during redeployment of the joint force.Concurrently, IO dissuades population fromsupporting AH or SAPA aggression.
Should deterrence fail, IO forces, on order, disrupt
enemy C2 to enable coalition military operationswithin the operational area. Concurrently, IOmarginalizes legitimacy of AH and SAPA.
IO forces dissuade AH from employing WMD
