After they had gone, all the family members came to the drawing room to look at the piano. To their surprise, they found that it had been placed with its back turned towards the middle of the room. The piano stood close against the wall. How could Eliza open and play it? So, it was decided that they should open the window and put a musical stool near it. Eliza would play the piano through the window from the outside.
