“Students will be exposed to the French culture, history and way of life and they will have ample opportunity to immerse themselves in the language.

Students will be responsible for certain daily activities while on the tour, like shopping for l u n c h e s , o rd e r i n g f o o d i n restaurants and booking metro tickets. They will have many opportunities to ‘parler français’.

Day 1 - Johannesburg The group will meet at O R

Tambo International airport for the overnight flight to Paris. A Travel Again assistant will be there to check in the group and assist with the formalities. Overnight onboard the plane.

Day 2 - Paris On arrival in Paris (10:25) a local

guide will meet the group at the airport. There will be a morning guided tour of the city. Highlights will include the famous Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Town Hall, the Bastille, the prestigious Sorbonne University and the Pantheon. Of course this tour would not be complete without a ride down the Champs Elysees with a view of the Arc de Triumph. The coach will

transfer the group to the hotel after the guided tour.

Day 3 - Paris The morning has been set aside

for an activity to be arranged by the College staff. The activity will relate to the French language. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 4 - Paris The entire day has been set aside

for a visit to Disneyland Paris. Return transfers are included.

Day 5 - Paris/Bordeaux After breakfast the group will

check out of the hotel and transfer to the station for the TGV train to Bordeaux. On arrival in Bordeaux the coach will transfer the group to the hotel.

Day 6 - Bordeaux After breakfast the group will

head to the medieval village of St Emilion for a walking tour with a local guide. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 7 - Bordeaux - Pau The group will check out of the

hotel this morning and board the coach for the transfer to Pau, on arrival check into the hotel for the evening.

Day 8 - Pau - Biarritz After breakfast the coach will

transfer the group to the surf resort of Biarritz and the sea port of St Jean de Luz. The group will return to the hotel late this afternoon.

Day 9 - Pau - Lourdes After breakfast the coach will

transfer the group to Lourdes. On arrival in Lourdes a local guide will meet the group for a guided tour of the town including an excursion to the Pyrenees Mountains.

Return to Pau after the excursion to the Pyrenees Mountains.

Day 10 - Pau - Toulouse - Carcassonne

After breakfast the group will check out of the hotel, board the coach for the transfer to Toulouse. On arrival in Toulouse, the coach wi l l t ake the g roup on an or ientat ion s ightsee ing tour. Continue the town of Carcassonne. On arrival, check into the hotel for one night

Day 11 - Carcassonne - NiceAfter breakfast the group will

check out of the hotel and board the coach for the transfer to Nimes. On arrival in Nimes the group will head for the Roman Arena. “The Arena o f Nîmes i s a Roman amphitheater found in the city of Nîmes. It has a capacity of 16,300 spectators and since 1989 has a movable cover and a heat ing system.”

Day 12 - Nice Day at leisure – Free time to

explore the beach,flower markets and the outdoor markets.

Day 13 - Nice - Monaco - St Paul

After breakfast the group will be met by a local guide who will give a guided tour of Monaco. There will be some free time after the tour to explore this exciting town. Afternoon visit to St Paul de Vence. Return to Nice by coach, late in the afternoon

Day 14 - Nice - Dubai After breakfast, there will be a

guided tour of Nice, taking in all the main sights the city has to offer. The remainder of the day is at leisure before the afternoon transfer to the airport for the flight to Dubai . On arr iva l in Dubai , transfer to the connecting flight to Johannesburg.

Day 15 - Dubai- Johannesburg

Arrive at O R Tambo Airport, clear passport control and customs – End of the tour.
