    (2.) Clock Chip: - The clock synchronizesthe operation of all parts of the PC and

    provides the basic timing signal for the

    CPU. Using a quartz crystal, the CPUclock breathes life into themicroprocessor by feeding it a constantflow of pulses. For example, a 200 MHzCPU receives 200 million pulses persecond from the clock. A 2 GHz CPUgets two billion pulses per second.Similarly, in a communications device, a

    Ques.7- What is Resolution?Ans.:- The resolution of an image incomputer graphics refers to the pixeldensity of said image. For instance, oldermonitors used 800x600 often times. This

    means that for every 4 pixels in thehorizontal direction, there are 3 in thevertical. This is where the aspect ratiocomes from, which for an 800x600resolution, is 4:3. The higher the value of
