Highlights: On 3 rd & 4 th of September 40 multi-disciplinary staff participated in a 2 day Enquiry Based Learning (EBL) Seminar facilitated by Ivan Moore (UK), Centre for Promoting Learner Autonomy. As part of the Learning Innovation Network Project IT Sligo will offer a Special Purpose Award at Level 9 for academic staff entitled: “Researching Education Researching Education Researching Education Researching Educational al al al Practice” Practice” Practice” Practice” This module intends to ground theoretical explorations in the real life of continuing academic professional development. This will be facilitated and delivered flexibly online through peer based learning and support. The publication based assessment mode will equip you with skills to produce papers appropriate for national and international education journals in your area of interest.
