Healthy Mind and Body Tip #2
Focus on your water intake! It’s your most vital nutrient, so make sure you consume 6-8
glasses of water a day.
Sailing Well done to the sailing team for their 5th place overall in the inter-school sailing recently. The team did extremely well do get into the gold medal final round-robin, and only just coming up short of a medal - just one higher placing in one race would have done it. This was an improvement on last year.
A special thanks to Ryan, Noemi and Lauren for organizing all aspects of the team’s participation.
U20 Girls Football The Girls’ Football team had a great start to their ISSFHK league by beating an enthusiastic American International School team 2-1. They were able to control the match having long periods of pressure, yet had to come from a goal down when AIS scored early into the 2nd half. Their lead didn't last long however as Jenny Swainston leveled the scoring after a great team move and a fine pass from Julia Rhee. The winner soon followed when vice-captain for the day, Kiara Jim, scored by tapping in following another great team play led by Jorja Townson.
Well done to all those involved! Team: Valerie Yau (Capt.), Kiara Jim, Klara Enk, Ana Leissner, Jenny Swainston, Michelle Panuncialman, Julia Rhee, Jasmine Mortimer, Annie Archer, Mackenzie Lai, Garbo Ting, Vanessa Gdowski and Jorja Townson.
