Num 6:23-27 ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: “‘“The LORD bless you and keep you;

the LORD make his face shine on you   and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you   and give you peace.”’

 “So they wi$ put my name on the Israelites, and I wi$ bless them.”Psalm 122: 6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

In 1948 the state of Israel, a new Jewish homeland, was formed. This was seen by many Christians as part of God’s ongoing faithfulness to his people, a declaration that God is still faithful to, and has plans for, Israel.

Israel (the Jews) faces intense hatred from many nations - some countries see the destruction of the Jews and their nation as a high political idea. Terrorist attacks are a daily threat. Pray for peace and protection for the people of Israel and for wisdom for political leaders. Pray for the light of God to shine.

God chose the nation of Israel yet most Jews do not know the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for salvation amongst the Jews.

Pray for a powerful and effective witness of Messianic Jews to their countrymen - that the hearts of Jews will return fully to the Lord their God.

Pray for the young people and children of Israel - that they might grow up knowing the love and grace of God - and exercising it in all they do.

Praise God for the roots of our faith in the patriarchs and in the faith of Judaism.
