Nov. 7 – Depart USA Depart the USA for Tel Aviv, Israel. Meals are served in flight.

Nov. 8 – Arrive Tel AvivArrive at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv and transfer toyour hotel for check‐in, dinner and a good night's sleep.

Nov. 9 – Caesarea Maritima, Megiddo, Tree Planting, NazarethPrecipice, TiberiasDrive up the Mediterranean Coastline to the ancient ruins ofCaesarea Maritima. Wander through the Roman aqueduct andtheater at Caesarea, a center of early Christianity. This is whereCornelius became the first Gentile convert to the new covenant(Acts 10) and Paul was imprisoned before being taken to Rome fortrial (Acts 23). Travel the ancient caravan route to Tel Megiddo,where 20 different cities lie superimposed upon each other. Enjoya special Tree Planting in Israel before our final stop in the city ofNazareth. View the city from the vantage point of the Mount ofPrecipice, where an angry mob attempted to throw Jesus off a cliff(Luke 4). After a full day of sightseeing, arrive in Tiberias for checkin to our hotel, dinner and a good night's sleep.

Nov. 10 – Boat Ride, Ancient Boat, Mt. of Beatitudes, Fish Lunch,Capernaum, Jordan River (Baptismal Service)Open the day with a beautiful boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Stopat Nof Ginosar, a kibbutz which houses the remains of a 2,000 yearold boat that was found on the shoreline of the lake in the late1980s. Stand on the peaceful Mount of Beatitudes that gives avisual impact of what Matthew 5‐7 could have looked like 2,000years ago. Explore Capernaum, the center of Jesus' ministry. Visitthe synagogue on the site where Jesus taught (Matt. 4). Finally,stop at Yardenit and finish the day at the River Jordan for a time ofspiritual blessing when you can remember or renew your baptism.

Nov. 11 – Beit Shean, Jordan Valley, Masada, Dead Sea, JerusalemWe leave the Galilee and make our way south along the Jordan ‐Israel border. Explore the massive excavations at Beit Shean, a citycontinuously inhabited for over 5,000 years, including when thePhilistines hung the bodies of King Saul and his sons from its walls(1 Sam. 31). Travel south through the Jordan River Valley, the routeoften taken by Jesus and other Galileans as they traveled to andfrom Jerusalem. Enjoy a visit to historic Masada, the spectacularmountaintop fortress built by Herod that later became the finaltragic stronghold of the Jewish rebellion against the Romans. Ridethe cable car to the top to explore the fortress and look down uponthe remains of the Roman camps and siege ramp below. Stop at theshores of the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth, for an opportunityto take a quick dip in the mineral laden waters. Continue toJerusalem and enjoy a panoramic view of the city before checkinginto your hotel for dinner & overnight.

Nov. 12 – Model City ‐ Shrine of the Book, Teaching Steps, Caiaphas'HouseLearn about the Jerusalem of Jesus’ day with a look at the FirstCentury Model of the City of Jerusalem, now housed at the IsraelMuseum. The museum itself contains 10,000 years of archeologicalartifacts, as well as the Shrine of the Book exhibit that displays theDead Sea Scroll containing the book of Isaiah. Visit the Davidson

Continue to modern Jerusalem and visit Yad Vashem, Israel’sHolocaust Memorial, with its poignant exhibits honoring the millions oflives lost during the Holocaust.
