Who was queen Bilqees

Queen Bilqees was a ruler of a nation called Saba, or Sheba in Yemen. She was enjoying great

wealth, power and dignity. She always consulted her counsel and they were ready to carry out her commands in everything. She worshipped sun as

God and the entire Sheba did not prostrate before Allah but was mislead by Satan.

Meeting with Suleyman [A.S] Suleyman was no ordinary king. His most mobile servants were birds . The Hudhud or the hoopoe was one of his most efficient bird. One day suleyman was reviewing his birds and found that the hoopoe is missing. Later the hoopoe came to Suleyman with the news about Sheba and Queen Bilqees. It said that it found a woman ruling Sheba .she was acquired with everything she wanted and she had a grand thrown. her people worshipped sun as God besides Allah

Immediately Suleyman sent a letter to them. He invited them to believe Allah. This matter was discussed between the Queen and the counsel and she sent him a gift which consisted of five tons of gold and jewellery.Suleyman took it as an insult and said to her ambassador that they would soon come there with their arm my and expel them from there . When Bilqees heard about it they had no choice but to accept and summit. They set off to Jerusalem When Suleyman heard about their coming he ordered his servants to bring her thrown before she reaches here.Bilqees on reaching there found her thrown and finally she submitted to Islam.

Message This story mainly tell us about that we should not

worship any other gods but Allah who is the creator and sustainer of the world
