Approximately 858 acres of pine forest would be thinned and 199 acres would be restored to longleaf pine. Road maintenance, temporary road construction for tim- ber removal, and creation of up to 5 permanent wildlife openings would also occur. In response to public scoping, the interdiscipli- nary team developed three alternatives to the proposed action.
