On behal f of the Internat iona l Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, we cordially invite you to the 10th Biennial ISAKOS Congress in Lyon, France. This is a special year for ISAKOS as it is the 20th anniversary of the Society! The ISAKOS Congress continues to be considered a premier international meeting, providing a diverse and unique opportunity for attendees to share, discuss and learn the latest advancements in arthroscopy, knee surgery and sports medicine.
The five-day Congress will include a variety of educational opportunities such as surgical demonstrations, paper presentat ions , debates , lectures, symposia and instructional
course lectures. Lunch time hands-on workshops, electronic posters and technical exhibits will also be offered. The ISAKOS Congress provides a variety of new prophylactic, therapeutic and surgical technique information, allowing attendees to expand their knowledge and enhance their surgical skills.
The beautiful city of Lyon is a classic backdrop for an ISAKOS Congress. With more than 2000 years of colorful, tumultuous and thriving history, this French city celebrates the art of living, luxury and fine cuisine. CME HoursThe 10th Biennial ISAKOS Congress, the three Pre-Courses and the Sports Rehabilitation Concurrent Course will be planned and implemented in accordance with the essential areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through joint sponsorship.

The course will be suitable for the subspecialist knee surgeon and also the general orthopaedic surgeon with an interest in knee surgery, and will cover a diverse collection of topics to provide a clinically relevant comprehensive summary of current knowledge and latest trends. The goal of the International Update on Surgical Controversies of the Shoulder pre-course is to evaluate the optimal use of diverse techniques for a variety of upper extremity surgical procedures. This pre-course will also help participants to formulate surgical protocols for upper extremity procedures that integrate strategies to avoid potential complications. This pre-course is unique in its presentation of surgical techniques, involving demonstrations, as well as pearls and pitfalls, and discussions for each topic. The Sports Rehabilitation Concurrent Course will be held on Sunday, June 7 through Tuesday, June 9. The ISAKOS Sports Rehabilitation Concurrent Course is intended for physicians, athletic trainers, physiotherapists and coaches concerned with the management or prevention of injuries to the athlete.
