Some important tips … while viewing any iPad
screen press the home button 2x … this allows
You both to multi task and shut down apps to
save battery power
After pressing the home button 2x, your screen will look
something like this screenshot. Your options are:
1) Press and hold on any app icon (small “x” will then appear)
• Press down on any “x” to close that app
2. Slowly tap any app to “multi-task” open that app
3. Slide your finger to the right to view more menu choices
If you had swiped your finger to the right on the
previous screen, this is what you would find:
1. Lock screen position (vertical or horizonal)
2. iPod player controls
If you press and hold your finger on any app, your screen
will look similar what is displayed here. Your options are:
1. Press and release on any “x” to delete that app
• you will be asked to confirm via a “deletion warning”
2. Press and drag any app to reposition on your screen.
Press the home button to return to “normal viewing”
Want to create folders? Press and drag any app icon immediately on top
of another icon image. A folder will be created with the option to name it.
