Evo Spotlight - Halogen/LED

Category: The Evo is a fully adjustable MR-16 Spotlight with a discreet knuckle joint aesthetic. The specially designed heat sink and airflow system reduces the lamp and fixture surface temperature. No side or back illumination. Three standard Glare Shield options provide brightness control with a Twist & Click bayonet mechanism.

Spotlight: Evo - Short Glare Shield (Evo - SGS), Evo - Angled Glare Shield (Evo - AGS), Evo - Long Glare Shield (Evo - LGS).

Material: Machined aluminum. Centro Trac connectors contacts utilize 24kt gold plated brass pin and sleeve connector housed in aluminum.

Finish: Brushed Aluminum (AL).

Systems: Evo Spotlight is used with one of Tegan’s versatile connectors (Spot connector is specified separately) that will enable easy connection to the full range of Systems and Monopoints. Refer to System Spec Sheets and Installation Sheets for more detail: Centro Trac System (CTS), Retrac System (RTS), Duplex Cable System (DCS), Monopoint Surface - Integral Driver (MPS-ID), Monopoint Recessed Flat Plate - Remote Power Supply (MPRFP-RP), Monopoint Recessed Trimless - Remote Power Supply (MRTL-RP), Monopoint Panel Mount - Remote Power Supply (MPPM-RP), Single Recessed Enclosure Monopoint (MP-1-RE), Double Recessed Enclosure Monopoint (MP-2-RE).

Connector: Connectors are used with Spotlight as specified (Spot connector is specified separately). Duplex Cable Connector (DCC), Centro Trac 90° Connector (C90C), Centro Trac Connector (CTC), Retrac Connector (RTCN), Monopoint - No connector required (MP).

Adjustment: Smooth, 360° bearing rotation with 90° vertical adjustment. Lockable pan and tilt.

Source: One 50W MR-16,12VAC GU5.3 Bi-Pin or 12VAC LED MR-16 lamp. Lamps supplied by others. Note that all LED MR16 lamps (Cree, Soraa, etc.) are rated for different operating conditions as per the lamp manufacturer. In addition, since these lamps are new technology; they are subject to frequent changes in recommended operating conditions and/or Spot compatibility. Please carefully check to ensure the lamp specified is rated to be compatible with the selected Tegan Spot. For dimming LED MR-16 lamps (Soraa) with 12VAC transformers, please refer to page 3 of our MR-16 LED Specsheet.

TWIST

The Twist & Click system allows the Spotlights to be easily removed. The Spotlights click into the jack plug socket, the threaded jacket then screws into position to lock the connection in place. Once fixed, the luminaires are free to rotate or can be secured using two locking pins. Supplied separately.
