INVITATION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR OUTSOURCING OF INTERNAL AUDIT

The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), A Govt. of West Bengal

Enterprise, mainly engaged in Distribution and Hydel Generation of power in West Bengal and having

over 600 Auditable locations all over the state with the approximate annual turnover of Rs 10000

crores, invites expression of interest from professional Firms of Chartered Accountants, Cost

Accountants, Engineers and Information Technology professionals specialized in Internal Audit

preferably in power sector and fulfilling the following eligibility requirements to submit their expression

of interest:-

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

KEY CRITERIA ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

NATURE OF THE FIRM Firms of Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, Engineers and Information Technology professionals specialized in internal audit preferably in power sector and who can provide adequate skilled and experienced dedicated core teams.

LOCATION OF THE FIRM Head office of the firm must be in the State of West Bengal.

EXPERIENCE IN INTERNAL AUDIT

Minimum 5 years of Experience in Internal audit/IT/IS/Energy Audit.

NO. OF WORKING PARTNERS Atleast five full time working partners in the immediately preceding three financial years and should continue up to 31/12/2011.

ANNUAL TURNOVER/ PROFESSIONAL FEES

The annual turnover of the professional firm should not be less than Rs 15 lacs in the immediately preceding three financial years.

Kindly submit your expression of interest cum quotation as per the prescribed format in two parts bid viz. (1) Part-1: Technical Bid & (2) Part-2: Professional fees cum Service Bid in a sealed cover and the envelopes should be marked as “OUTSOURCED INTERNAL AUDIT EMPANELMENT, PART-1” and “OUTSOURCED INTERNAL AUDIT EMPANELMENT, PART-2” separately. These two sealed envelopes shall then be kept in a third envelope and superscripted as “Outsourced Internal Audit Empanelment”. All three envelopes should be addressed to:- “The GM (F&A) – Internal Audit, WBSEDCL, Vidyut Bhavan, Block-B, 3rd Floor, Saltlake City, Sector-II, DJ-Block, Kolkata-700091” and shall also bear the name & address of the sender. The firms already engaged with this company as outsourced internal auditors need not apply in this regard. The Expression of Interest should be submitted within 9th February up to 2.00 PM as per the

prescribed format available from the website of the company i.e. www.wbsedcl.in. A detailed RFP

(Request for Proposal) has also been uploaded in our website along with the Expression of Interest. The

Firms will have to download such RFP from our website and will submit the same after duly filled in

within the due date.
