This set had 63 photos of a Master Gardener workshop.
I selected three or four of the best photos to promote a website. In this case, future websites
Note tags and number of views
Photos on flickr
Are uploaded chronologically to a “Photostream”

You can make photos private, limited sharing, password protect them or make them public
You can select licensing parameters: “All Rights Reserved” “Creative Commons” etc.

Two ways to upload
Select the photos you want to upload. Note slight grey background means they have been selected. Also note image name. This needs to be changed. Start at first with just a few images. 5-10. Click open at the bottom right of the image thumbnails.

Once you upload select all. The photos with a pink border will be uploaded. You can delete a photo or photos here if needed. Note two rings on left. You want to change the name of the photos to reflect keywords about your event. For instance all but first photo are of a weed school, so I will make that adjustment!
Renaming in Flickr
I removed the first image because it didn’t belong in the set
Far left, I renamed the event using keywords. Note how it populated across all photos.
I added a description. You can also put a web address in the description if you want to point traffic to your website.
You can go back in later and tweak/change individual picture names.

After you batch name the photos, you can add them to a set. If there is not a set already made you can create one on the spot.
Also add tags at this stage. In this example use your institution or business name, your state, any relative topics
Twitter tags do not recognize spaces so University of Maryland would need to be written as universityofmaryland
Tagging.
Tags are keywords. They help other Flickr accounts find your photos.
Consider what you are trying to promote.
Picture to right was a school tour taught by Master Gardeners and Extension professionals. Tags for this might be:
Universityofdelaware,cooperativeextension,trees,education,mastergardeners,Delaware, ageducation, gardentour
