Department of Navigation & Aviation of MOTC conducts the project & platform

Chunghwa Telecom and Institute for Information Industry(III) execute the project & operate the platform

The First Stage Achievements

Facilitate Operation, Four-Port as One Computerized Maritime Operation System, Saving

Money & Time Improved Harbor Area Logistics Operating

Performance Improved Information System Service Mechanism Preliminarily Met the Commitment to APEC

The first stage of the implementation of paperless trading in this area came through the Implementation of Maritime & Harbor Information System Project, which was originally planned for 2002 to 2005 and further extended by one year to 2006.

The Second Stage Future Goals

To be the Domestic and Global Maritime/Logistics Information Exchange Hub

To Connect with Domestic & Global Platforms To be the Role of All-Purpose Maritime Service Provider To Provide Platform Service of Financial, Information

and Logistics Flows

Maritime & Harbor Information System Overall Development Project

The second stage, the Maritime & Harbor information System Overall Development Project is planned to extend from 2007 to 2011.
