• Expensive: burden on parents • Time wasting • Not all pupils have computer at home• Distraction: Pupils won’t focus on content • Pupils will do inappropriate things with it! • Dangers that lurk in cyber space … • What if if breaks down? • What if they know more than me? • Steep learning curve for a teacher• Not on the exam…

What is Moodle …?

• E-learning environment to access resources and online activities for your course when your are not in class.

• Login from anywhere you can access the web and via an App for iPhone/iPod & Android (MyMoodle)

• Requires your NUIM student login details (once you register). – Username = your student number – Password is a combination of three letters and four numbers. lower-

case (no capital letters) and don’t confuse letters for numbers (e.g. letter L for number one, or letter O for zero).
