moving-picture storytelling continues to define our culture, fed by an ever-expanding stream of new venues, screens, and formats. our digitally based Cinematic Arts program teaches you to channel your unique voice into strong content no matter where you want to go: mainstream feature films, motion graphics, fine-art installations, interactive media, original television, independent films, music videos, or commercials. You’ll explore every step in the filmmaking process—storyboarding, production design, cinematography, directing, and post-production—using industry standard, 21st-century tools and techniques.

the world of fashion extends from Walmart to ralph lauren, famous footwear to louis Vuitton, and its reach is truly international. studying fashion design at CCAd will get you ready for a role in both high art and big business. When it comes to creative solutions that impact everyday life, Industrial design is at the forefront. Whether it’s designing an inexpensive device to keep dolphins out of tuna nets or coming up with a less wasteful way to move fresh fruit to market, studying Industrial design will help you make the world a better place. You’ll learn an effective design process that includes research, 2-d and 3-d visualization (like drawing, computer-aided design, and modeling), and a thorough understanding of manufacturing, social, and environmental criteria. specialty design courses include furniture, retail, packaging, environmental graphics, displays, exhibits, and toys.

If you always notice when a space “feels right,” you already know that interior spaces can be both beautiful and beneficial. As the world continues to look for better ways for people to interact with our built environment, research, planning, design, and problem solving all come into play. the Interior design program teaches those skills through real-world exercises with simulated client goals and objectives, as well as with courses in hand sketching, computer modeling, and communication. supporting everything are a fully equipped lighting lab, an encyclopedic material samples library, and a fundamental commitment to career preparation.
