Those initialviews were replaced by ancient Greek philosophy of nature, and the search forlocalizationoffunctionsandsicknessesinspecializedorgans,being,forexample,heartversusbrain,aclearpictureofthisparadigm.Inmanywaysthephilosophyofnaturewasrelatedtoreligiousinterpretations,butitendedwiththeconstructionofmodernscienceinEuropein17thcentury.Thosenaturalstepsresultedincontemporarytimeswith science as the source for technology. Theepilepsiesascomplexdisorderscanbedescribedandstudiedasinteractinglevels of networks, the so-called connectomes, with additional complexity whencomorbidities are also included in the analysis.
