Page 7: INTERNATIONAL MAGIS SOCIETY proudly presents THE ORATOR’s WORKSHOP

CATEGORIZE After you have “Fantasize” and

“Sanitize” your ideas, you are now ready to “Categorize” them.

Draw boxes on another sheet of paper. Have sub headings on each box and categorize your ideas carefully.

This makes it easier to put your ideas into paragraphs according to the sub headings of your topics.

PRIORITIZE Highlight the sub headings of the

categorized ideas which are most important in the speech.

Remember not to highlight too many because if you are giving a short speech, you can’t fit too many ideas in your speech script.

Page 10: INTERNATIONAL MAGIS SOCIETY proudly presents THE ORATOR’s WORKSHOP

ROMANTICIZE This is the final part of speech

preparation before writing a script. To Romanticize, is to think of a

suitable starting sentence and a finishing sentence.

Remember that these 2 sentences are very important as they give the listeners the final impression of your speech so make it powerful with impact in it….
