Interested in Running for the SunState Board of Directors? 2020 SunState Board Election Process Begins If you are interested in running for a position on the SunState Federal Credit Union board of directors, and wish to be considered by the nominating committee to have your name placed on the ballot, a completed official nomination form is required. The nominating form may be obtained by contacting the Executive Secretary at the credit union (by phone, mail or direct request). Once the official nominating form is completed and returned to the Executive Secretary of the credit union (at 405 SE 2nd Place, Gainesville, FL 32601 by the deadline August 15, 2019), the form will be forwarded to the nominating committee for review. The nominating committee may, at its sole discretion, interview potential candidates and/or require additional information to satisfy their responsibilities in accordance with policies and election procedures adopted by the board of directors. The nominating form/ application must be completed in its entirety to be considered. The nomination form/application includes requests for candidate’s full name, birth date, social security number, current address, telephone number, position of interest, and qualifications, including authorization to obtain a credit report. The form should be accompanied by a biographical sketch limited to 50 words. To become a candidate via nomination by petition: bondable, otherwise eligible members must request official petition forms prior to November 7, 2019. Petition forms may be obtained by request from the Executive Secretary of the credit union and will be provided with appropriate instructions regarding issuance and receipt of completed petitions. The petition forms have spaces for printed name, address including zip code on credit union records, last 4 digits of social security number, and signature of petitioner. To qualify to be included on the ballot by petition, a candidate must obtain signatures and required information from at least 1% of the credit union’s membership, or 363 unique signatures*. The deadline for returning the completed petition forms with the required number of signatures in a sealed package to the Executive Secretary of the credit union is December 2, 2019. Upon receipt, the Executive Secretary will forward the sealed petition package to the chairman of the supervisory committee for verification of the signatures. Prior to running for the board of directors, candidates must be a member of the credit union and be eligible for bonding. Candidates may not be currently employed by the credit union. Election ballots will be mailed to all members eligible to vote either with December 31, 2019, year- end statements, or in a separate mailing within the first few days of January 2020. Replacement ballots will be available in credit union branches, or by direct mailing to those members eligible to vote who make a request to the chairman of the supervisory committee. Each primary member or organization account will be permitted one vote. Organization account ballots must be signed by an authorized signer on the account. Members will be eligible to vote if they are the primary member on the account and are at least 16 years of age with a par value of $5.00 on deposit in the regular share account on December 31, 2019. *1% of membership as of May 31, 2019 Annual Meeting Results of the board election will be announced at the 2020 SunState Federal Credit Union annual meeting to be held February 25, 2020, 6:30 p.m. at the credit union’s 43 rd Street branch in Gainesville, Florida. However, your withholding election does not affect the amount of income tax you pay. • There are 3 sticker designs to choose from.

Place the sticker on your automobile, boat, RV or even your cooler and take a picture of yourself with the sticker.

• Post the photo to Instagram with #SunStateFCU. We can only see and count your post when your page settings are public.

• OR go to the SunState Livin' Facebook page and post your picture with the #SunStateFCU

• $5 for every photo posted will be donated to the SFCU Employee’s Charity of Choice (identified below) for that month.

• Only one donation will be paid per person/month.

Charities for 2019 – Charity receiving the donation will change every 2 months.• July 2 - August 31 – Military Support Group of Alachua County• September 2 – October 31 – Children’s Miracle Network• November 2 – December 31 – Food 4 Kids

Random Prizes awarded monthly through December 2019• Each month one randomly drawn qualifying Instagram photo post from that month
