INTRODUCTION

Alberi system is a production control integration system which can connect every machine in production field an monitor the machines in order to see how is going on productivity chain

Arkitecture of Alberi system

Alberi is italian word trees, it means as a tree, we can have many branches under control and this is exactly what we can do in production area.

Starting from base, we have machines which can have plc as controller, so our strong point is to be able to connect them in our network and collect from them information without modify their control panel or software.

Our connections are completely transparent and we do not have any effect in machines, only we can monitor the productivity and many other sensitive data

MACHINES CONTROL LEVELS

All machines are divided in level of controls:

1. LEVEL 0; this is Plc which normally is placed near the machine and control all machine movements

2. LEVEL 1; this is Hmi which normally is placed on main console where operator stay because in this all information regarding operation and alarms are displayed

3. LEVEL 2: this is Scada which normally is placed in a separate room where only production responsible are checking it and where all information regarding machine are stored and saved.

4. LEVEL 3: this is Cim which is normally placed in the main office and from this all information regarding production of all machines are checked, stored and organized

LEVEL ZERO PLC

A Programmable Logic Controller, or PLC, is more or less a small computer with a built-in operating system (OS). This OS is highly specialized to handle incoming events in real time, i.e. at the time of their occurrence.

LEVEL ONE HMI

A human–machine interface or HMI is the apparatus which presents process data to a human operator, and through which the human operator controls the process.

LEVEL TWO SCADA

HMI is usually linked to the SCADA system's databases and software programs, to provide trending, diagnostic data, and management information such as scheduled maintenance procedures, logistic information, detailed schematics for a particular sensor or machine, and expert-system troubleshooting guides.

SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) is a type of industrial control system (ICS). Industrial control systems are computer controlled systems that monitor and control industrial processes that exist in the physical world. SCADA systems historically distinguish themselves from other ICS systems by being large scale processes that can include multiple sites, and large distances.

LEVEL THREE CIM

CIM is "computer-integrated manufacturing" and is a method of manufacturing and the name of a computer-automated system in which individual engineering, production, marketing, and support functions of a manufacturing enterprise are organized. In a CIM system functional areas such as design, analysis, planning, purchasing, cost accounting, inventory control, and distribution are linked through the computer with factory floor functions such as materials handling and management, providing direct control and monitoring of all the operations.

We surely can say that a production chain is effective when all part of it are working well together, so our mission is to show where is weak point and give all our technical experience to solve it.

Our Alberi system can give real time situation of productivity and help the devoloping of production area thanks to our engeneering department
