The purpose and aim of Auto-ID is the faultless entry, provision and forwarding of in-formation on raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products along the entire value-added chain.The CSB-Systems manages and controls all labeling and identification processes within the company. MATERIAl FlOW COMPUTER (MFC)

The Material Flow Computer (MFC) by CSB-System con-trols and models all forms of conveying and storage equipment and other components of your intralogistics system. The MFC is a modular and configurable system which can be used in a self-contained mode or as an add-on to the warehousing system, e.g. for the integration of automated inventory. The Material Flow Computer controls the transport com-mands issued by the picking system, the Inventory Man-agement Computer and the i-points and relays them downstream to the intralogistics systems. In addition, the MFC monitors the transportation orders and integrates the control of weight monitoring by connecting scales and scanners.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT COMPUTER (IMC)

Control, manage and monitor all warehousing systems with the IMC (Inventory Management Computer). The IMC controls all inventory processes, such as stock placement, removal and inventory relocations. The system determines the storage location for all storage movements, taking into account the technical infrastructure of your warehouse as well as the bin occupancy data.

From a single control station, free capacities across your warehousing systems are available, as are suggestions for stock placement and removal in accordance with planned material usage. At any point in time, the scope of your item provision is checked. In addition, the system automatically ex-ecutes warehouse reallocation orders and performs sell-by date checks. IMC Designer allows you to graphically create and change the inventory struc-ture.

With the IMC Designer, you can create matrix over-views and define the properties of each bin loca-tion. In this way, the facility is communicated for the Inventory Management Computer to work with. If required, you can customize your warehousing strategy for each product category.

In addition, you can determine exception handling with the IMC Designer, e.g. when a storage posi-tion can’t be accessed or when a container was not placed as intended by the IMC. The Inventory Man-agement Computer by CSB-System allows you to minimize your stock and costs and increase liquid-ity.
