About the Company

Petronect was created on October 18th of 2002 by the initiative of Petrobras to provide electronic commerce services related to the procurement of goods and services.

Through the electronic portal, transactions are carried out ranging from requests for quotations

and proposals submissions to contracts and orders management.

Petrobras. By registering, the supplier companies can prove their aptitude to

Life Quality at Work

Petronect has developed the “Gesture of Love" Project, in

which Philanthropic Institutions receive monthly food and

hygiene and cleaning items.

The institutions benefited by the project, from August 2016

to July 2017, are: Fundação Assistencial Santa Bárbara e Associação Centro De Estudos Alternativo Comunitário.

Petronect values the well-being of its employees, aiming to

make the workplace a reference in the sector.

Following this guideline and market trends, Petronect

promotes initiatives focused on innovation and use of new

technologies.

In addition, it has a modern and interactive environment

Environmental Responsability

The Petrobras, by using Petronect, reduces the impact of CO2 in the atmosphere:

Paper Rationing: The Petrobras Group uses the Portal since 2003

as a tool to transact the following purchasing activities: electronic

quotation, electronic auction and electronic (order/request).

Based on the data of the analyzed period, the Petrobras Group

transacted in the Portal 2,244,264 electronic processes and

4,786,431 requests. The company spared, on average, the

utilization of 1,361 tons of paper.

Traveling Rationing: Based on the data from the period, 793 online trainings were conducted and no trips related to the purchasing processes transacted in the Portal were required. Thus,

the company spared the emission of 1,237 tons of CO2.
