ATOMIC ENERGY CENTRAL SCHOOL KALPAKKAM-603102 NATIONAL CADET CORPS (ARMY WING) TROOP NO: 213 ---- AECS-2, NCC REPORT ( April 2019 January 2020) Enrolment of Cadets: The enrolment of Cadets for the training year 2019-20 was done on 09 July 2019. I Year Cadets: A total no. of 21 cadets were enrolled in first year out of 52 cadets, from AECS-2 (VIII Std). (13 cadets in Junior Division and 08 in Junior Wing). II Year Cadets : 13 Cadets (08 Boys and 05 Girls) were given training in second year from class IX to appear the certificate ‘A’ examination 2019-20. The NCC ‘A’ Certificate Exam is scheduled on 03 Jan. 2020. Institution Training (17 Aug 2019) Institutional Training As per the NCC Syllabus and the guidelines of the NCC Authorities, 40 Parades (2 hrs. per Parade) were scheduled for 80 hrs. to conduct for the cadets beyond the school hours, at AECS-2, Kalpakkam for the Training Year 2019-20. The cadets were given training regularly by First Officer (Captain). Mr. M.Sivakumar, Troop Commander and by the Army staffs (NCO’s/ JCO’s). Enrolment of Cadets: The enrolment of Cadets for the training year 2019-20 was done on 09 July 2019. ANO’s Conference The ANO’s First Conference was conducted on 08 Nov. 2019 at the Battalion Premises, Kancheepuram. Col. S.Chander, Commanding Officer, 3 TN Battalion NCC, Kancheepuram, Chaired the Conference. Shri. M.Sivakumar, (ANO) Associate NCC Officer of AECS, Kalpakkam attended the ANOs Conference.

Camp Activities 1.Combined Annual Training Camp-cum- Thal Sainik Camp Selection:

The CATC-cum-TSC Selection Camp was conducted at the Battalion Premises, Kanchipuram

from 21 May 2019 to 30 May 2019.

The CATC-cum-TSC Launch Camp was conducted at the Battalion Premises, Kanchipuram from 28 June 2019 to 07 July 2019. 05 JD cadets of class IX were detailed to attend the camp. (Cdt. Sakthi Karthik B C, Kesavaraman K, Aldo Roger J, Sujay Sarvesh K C, Kanishkar S)

Social Service Activities

Swatchhata Hi Seva – FIT INDIA (02 Oct 2019) : Rally was organized on 02 Oct 2019 at AECS-2, Kalpakkam. All the NCC Cadets from AEC Schools at Kalpakkam and Anupuram actively participated in the rally. The NSS Students of XI & XII Std. joined their hands and created awareness

to the Public.

Swachh Pakwada (01 Dec. 2019 – 15 Dec. 2019)

SwachhBeach Cleaning: The NCC Unit , Kanchipuram assigned the task to our Sub Unit to clean the Beach on 04 December 2019. The cadets were taken to the Kalpakkam Beach, near Shopping Centre. Plastic Bottles, Glass Pieces, Polythene covers, were collected in large no.

Coastal Cleanup – 07 Dec. 2019

‘Plastic Se Rakshaw-Swachhat Hi Suraksha’

As per the directions of the Commanding Officer, 3 TN Battaluion NCC, Kanhipuram, Swachh Pakwada Programme: ‘Plastic Se Rakshaw-Swachhat Hi Suraksha’ was organized during conduct of NCC parade.on 07 ||Dec. 2019 from 16:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs. The NCC Cadets were taken to clean the Sadras Beach. Plastic Cups, Pastic |Bottles, Plastic covers, Broken |Bottle pieces etc were collected from the beachCleanliness Drive was carried out. The NCC cadets of our NCC Troop involved in this programme and cleaned the Coastal area behind to the Sadras Dutch Fort.

24 Nov. 2019 - NCC Day On November 24, 2019, the NCC Day was celebrated in our school. Cadets participated in various actively. Cadets from AEC Schools of Kalpakkam and Anupuram participated actively. Cadet H.Lubaina of class VIII delivered speech about the responsibility and the role of NCC in our Country. A patriotic Solo Song, Group song, Group Dance made the programme more attractive and colourful. Cadet S.Ranjitha (VIII Std) presented Silambam to create self confidence among Girls.
